About Bachelor of Nursing

Hacettepe Univesity Nursing Faculty has carried on education activities since 1961. first it was belonged to the Hacettepe University Child Health Research Institute. In 1972 it connected to the Hacettepe University Rectorate directly. And in 2007 it was connected to the Health Science Faculty as Nursing Department. Since December 2012 it has been Nursing Faculty. Nursing Faculty gives nursing education at national and Ä±nternational standarts with a strong academic structure. In our faculty students begin to their education with English preparing program for one year and they continue to their education for four years. The students take one third of their courses in english. Students graduate from our faculty with getting the title of "nurse".In our faculty there are 8 departments which give bachelor`s, master`s and doctoral education degree. All of our students take theoretical courses in classes and practice in skill and simulation labs. Also they are practice at institutions which are preventive and therapeutic organizations.Our graduates are able to employed as nurse, training nurse, special branch nurse, counselor, nurse manager in health institutions that serve preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative at national and international level and that belong to public and private sector.Cooperation of academic and clinical environment that created by the contribution of our faculty provides a convenient high level of nursing services that are patient`s and employee`s safety oriented, in international standarts, independent, scientifically-based and using information technologies.
