Program HakkÄ±nda Genel Bilgi Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi ProgramÄ±nÄ±n temelleri, 1968 yÄ±lÄ±nda Hacettepe Ãœniversitesi Mezuniyet SonrasÄ± EÄŸitim FakÃ¼ltesi'ne baÄŸlÄ± olarak Odyoloji YÃ¼ksek Lisans programÄ±nÄ±n baÅŸlatÄ±lmasÄ± ile atÄ±lmÄ±ÅŸtÄ±r. Hacettepe Ãœniversitesi'nde 1989 yÄ±lÄ±na kadar Odyoloji olarak yÃ¼rÃ¼tÃ¼len yÃ¼ksek lisans programÄ±, sonrasÄ±nda eÄŸitim programlarÄ± revize edilerek "Odyoloji ve KonuÅŸma BozukluklarÄ±" YÃ¼ksek Lisans ve Doktora eÄŸitimi olarak sÃ¼rdÃ¼rÃ¼lmÃ¼ÅŸtÃ¼r. Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi Anabilim DalÄ± 17 Nisan 2013 tarihinde aÃ§Ä±lmÄ±ÅŸtÄ±r. 18 Nisan 2013 tarihinde ise H.Ãœ. SaÄŸlÄ±k Bilimleri FakÃ¼ltesi Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi Lisans ProgramÄ± aÃ§Ä±larak 2013-2014 EÄŸitim- Ã–ÄŸretim yÄ±lÄ±nda lisans Ã¶ÄŸrencisi alÄ±nmasÄ± onaylanmÄ±ÅŸtÄ±r. 17 AralÄ±k 2014 tarihinde YÃ–Kâ€™Ã¼n kararÄ± ile SaÄŸlÄ±k Bilimleri FakÃ¼ltesiâ€™nde Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi Anabili DalÄ±, Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi BÃ¶lÃ¼mÃ¼â€™ne dÃ¶nÃ¼ÅŸtÃ¼rÃ¼lmÃ¼ÅŸtÃ¼r. Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi Lisans ProgramÄ±nÄ±n temel amacÄ±, saÄŸlÄ±k ve re/habilitasyon alanÄ±ndaki hizmetleri ile planlanan hedeflerin gerÃ§ekleÅŸmesinde rolÃ¼ olan dil ve konuÅŸma terapistleri yetiÅŸtirmektir. Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi lisans programÄ±nÄ±n mezun vermesi ile toplumun ihtiyaÃ§larÄ±nÄ±n karÅŸÄ±lanabilmesi yÃ¶nÃ¼nde Ã§ok Ã¶nemli bir adÄ±m atÄ±lmasÄ±nÄ±n yanÄ± sÄ±ra eÄŸitim standardÄ±nÄ±n saÄŸlanmasÄ± ve eÄŸitim kalitesinin arttÄ±rÄ±lmasÄ± saÄŸlanacaktÄ±r. Dil ve KonuÅŸma Terapisi lisans eÄŸitimi 4 yÄ±l tam zamanlÄ± olarak verilmektedir. EÄŸitim dili TÃ¼rkÃ§e'dir. Dersler; teorik ve pratik olarak yÃ¼rÃ¼tÃ¼lmektedir. Ã–ÄŸrencilerimizin, Ã§alÄ±ÅŸma alanlarÄ±na yÃ¶nelik saha ve kurum stajlarÄ± yapmak, rapor, seminer, eÄŸitim ve araÅŸtÄ±rma projeleri hazÄ±rlama ve sÃ¶zlÃ¼ sunum yapma sorumluluklarÄ± bulunmaktadÄ±r.

Fundamentals of the Program of Speech and Language Therapy have been taken depending on the master program of Audiology in Faculty of Postgraduate Education Hacettepe University in 1968. Since 1989 the master program of Audiology had revised and has continued its education programs as Department of Speech-Language Therapy was established in April 17th 2013. Afterwards Bachelor`s Degree Program in Language and Speech Disorders was formed on April 18 th 2013. Education language is Turkish. All of the courses have been implemented as a required and elective courses. Our department graduates takes the title of "Speech-Language Therapist" after the graduation. All graduates can take their professional role in health system and also they can go on developing their academic skills.On December 17, 2014 Speech and Language Therapy department was established in the faculty of Health Sciences based on the decision of the Counsil of Higher Education (YOK).The main aim of the Speech and Language Therapy department undergraduate programme is to produce professionals who have the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills in preparation to work as competence speech and language therapists in health services.The graduation of the students from the Speech and Language Therapy program will not only be a starting point for meeting the needs of the public but also will provide an enhancement in the quality of education and standardization.The undergraduate program is a full-time, 4 years programme. Language of education is Turkish. Courses are implemented theoretically and practicum.Through the educational programme, the students are in charge of preparing research projects, making presentations and completing their practicums in the field of speech and language pathology.

Entry Requirements

To register to Program of Speech-Language Therapy, candidates should finish high school education or have similar degree to Turkish secondary educational system and take enough (MF) in national university exam (NUE). Department of Speech-Language Therapy accepts students with (NUE) (MF)-3 scoring system.
