About Master of Child Development and Education

For the program, candidates are required to have completed the undergraduate program in the Department of Child Development, Faculty of Healty Sciences, Hacettepe University; or another relevant graduate program about medical, health or educational sciences. Acceptance is under the authority of the department's committee.
To meet the application requirements of Hacettepe University Graduate Education and Examination Regulations and Institute of Health Sciences.

The students of Child Development and Education master program are required to get a graduate score of (minimum) 2.50 over 4.00 and also accomplish a thesis to graduate from the program.Candidates for the Child Development and Education graduate program who have passed required exams (ALES, language proficiency and the interview exam) are supposed to prepare a master thesis in addition to taking courses of totally 60 ECTS. Master Degree is awarded to students who have completed all the courses (120 ECTS). One credit corresponds to 30 hours of work.
During the program, students prepare a thesis (60 ECTS) in their field after completing their graduate courses (at least 60 ECTS). Those who are successful in the thesis exam are awarded a "Science Expertise" diploma in the Ã‡GE program.
