Study Public Administration at Hacettepe University, a PhD degree offered at its main campus in Istanbul, Turkey. This Full Time program is delivered on campus in English. About PhD in Public Administration
2. There is no minimum grade-point average (GPA) requirement. 3. Applicants must score at least 60 standard points (equally-weighted) from Academic Staff and Graduate Education Examination (ALES), that is held by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), or must have an equivalent score approved by the Hacettepe University Senate, from the internationally accepted GRE and GMAT examinations.
4. Applicants must have obtained at least 60 points from Foreign Language Exam (YDS) or an equivalent score from other language exams approved by Hacettepe University Senate.
5. International students' applications are accepted in line within “Hacettepe University Graduate Programme and Exam Regulation" in Official Gazette (29 November 2016, No:29900).
6. Those conditions, which are not included, are applied in accordance with the related provisions of the Hacettepe University Graduate Education, Instruction and Examination Regulations (Hacettepe Üniversitesi Lisansüst Eğitim, Öğretim ve Sınav Yönetmeliği).
To graduate from the program, students must complete 10 courses (30 national credits/90 ECTS), pass the Ph.D. Qualifying Exam (30 ECTS), and complete the dissertation (120 ECTS). In addition to this, students should meet the other conditions specified in the Hacettepe University Regulation on Graduate Training, Education, and Examination.
In order to graduate, students must have 240 ECTS. In this framework, they must complete 3 compulsory and 7 elective courses (30 national credits / 90 ECTS), pass the Ph.D. Qualifying Exam (30 ECTS), and complete the dissertation (120 ECTS).
