Objective

The objective of the program is to train designers and fashion coordinators who are equiped to cutting, designing uppers, lasting and finishing processes of shoemaking, quality control and manufacturing planning at shoe manufacturing companies or at their businesses using shoe design and production techniques.

Trained shoe design fashion coordinators will obtain the knowledge and experience to design fashionable shoes and bags that have competitive advantage in domestic and international markets; able to make soles; be able to use 3-D shoe design software; able to manufacture the prototype; prepare new collections and models for manufacturing and sales companies and to manage the process of preparing styles and collections.

The sector produces an essential part of clothing. Like other sectors manufacturing clothing accessories, it closely interacts with fashion.
