The Mission

Today, a great importance has given to sociology education and sociologists, in order to maintain social harmony. In our contry the importance of sociology educaion has been recognized.
To grow the " Sociology of Science Professionals"that can lead the society, who requires knowladge of sociology and have the experience with internships, is aimed by our programme.
For this reason, Department of Sociology was established in 2013- 2014 Education Year as a part of Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Notarization of translated High school diploma and transcript from Notary in Turkey or Turkish Embassy in your country
Health Insurance for one year (compulsory – You will make your insurance paperwork in J Block with International Students and Staff Affairs. Insurance Costs between 400,00 to 600,00 TRL)
Equivalency Paper (Denklik Belgesi) of High school diploma from Provincial Directorate of Ministry of Education in Istanbul (you will be guided properly on this once you will reach Istanbul Aydin University International Office J - Block)
Language Proficiency Certificate
