MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING
Masters Degree Program with thesis in Mechatronic Engineering is a 120 ECTS credits program with a duration of 2 academic years composed of 4 consecutive 30-ECTS semesters. The regular program consists of 7 courses of 21 local credits, a seminar and a thesis. Both the course work and the thesis have 60 ECTS credits each. Upon a request by the program director, the institute may require the prospective student to enroll additional courses if his/her background is not considered to be sufficient to follow the program requirements. The graduate program of the Department of Mechatronic Engineering is designed to meet the demands of specialized Mechatronic scientists and engineers in the industry and in higher education and also of the qualified students from various academic disciplines to pursue advanced level education. Graduate students may specialize in Mechatronic System Design, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks and Distributed Systems, Image Analysis, Numerical Computation, Software Engineering, Mechatronic System Modelling and Simulation. Gradute students who fulfill the requirements of the program at Istanbul Aydin University are granted the degree of Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechatronic Engineering. Graduate Students in this program must demonstrate sufficient competency in Mechatronic Engineering by satisfying the enhanced coursework requirements.
