The demand for medical imaging and radiotherapy technicians is on the rise in parallel to the increased use of medical imaging techniques for the diagnosis of diseases and the increased prevalence of cancer. However, in addition to the rapid development of technology in the field of radiotherapy, the demand for experienced radiotherapy technicians has also resulted in an increase in the demand for Medical Imaging Technicians who also have an adequate level of knowledge about radiotherapy applications. Thus, the Medical Imaging Techniques Program of stanbul Bilgi University aims to raise graduates who also have an adequate level of knowledge about radiotherapy in addition to medical imaging methods.
Our students are provided with an education which will enable them to gain the required occupational knowledge and skills thanks to our staff specialized in the field of medical imaging and radiotherapy, and are offered a wide range of career opportunities.
Graduates of Medical Imaging Techniques Program have the chance to work at state, university and private hospitals, as well as private medical centers and private imaging centers in the units of Radiology (Conventional Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Angiography, Mammography, Fluoroscopy), Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy in the capacity of Medical Imaging Technician.
Graduates of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program have the chance to transfer to undergraduate programs of Nursing and Nursing and Health Services of various universities with the Vertical Transfer Examination (VTE). The medium of instruction is Turkish.
