The Operating Room Services program aims to raise "Operating Room Technicians", who are in charge of preparing all surgical equipment used at operating rooms and ensuring their use, are well-aware about the working procedures of central sterilization unit and follow sterilization and disinfection rules, and are a part of the operating room team and are guided by the operating surgeon during medical operations and by nurses in charge of the operating room in other areas.
Our students gain an adequate level of knowledge and skills thanks to our fully-equipped operating room laboratory under the guidance of our expert staff. Graduates of the Operating Room Service Program have the chance to work at operating rooms or sterilization units of health institutions and organizations in both public and private sectors in the capacity of "Operating Room Technician".
Graduates of the Operating Room Services Program have the chance to transfer to undergraduate programs of Nursing and Emergency Aid and Disaster Management of various universities with the Vertical Transfer Examination (VTE).
The medium of instruction is Turkish.
