About Bachelor of Digital Game Design

stanbul Bilgi University Digital Game Design Department is the first four-year BA degree programs in the field of digital gaming in Turkey. Focusing on digital games as expressive media, the program aims to educate game designers who are capable of blending creative thinking with technical and organizational skills.

Thanks to the digital distribution channels and the continuing introduction of new platforms digital gaming has become a highly competitive and truly global industry within the last decade. Survival and success in this environment requires creative and innovative gaming ideas and applications. Digital Game Design Program aims to educate a workforce capable of meeting the requirements of this industry in both national and global levels.

Requirements and Admission Criteria for Bachelor of Digital Game Design at Istanbul Bilgi University

Entry Requirements

The International Student Recruitment Office at Istanbul Bilgi University is always working on processing and evaluating students’ applications within a short time span.

Applications’ deadline is set to August-end regarding fall-semester applications. Future international students are required to submit their applications as soon as their official documents are ready.

The students who haven’t graduated from High-school and who want to send their application early and during their senior/last year of high school, can do so as follows:

The evaluation will be done over the complete high school transcripts (3 or 4 years) and if accepted will be issued a ‘Conditional Acceptance Letter’.
Once the student has graduated and obtained the high-school diploma with the corresponding official transcripts, the student should forward these last documents to the International Student Recruitment Office to issue the ‘Final Acceptance Letter’.
