Istanbul Bilgi University is the SOLE Recognized Teaching Center of œUniversity of London within Turkey. Under this collaboration, the aim of the œEconomics and Finance Honours Programme, which is administered with the academic direction from the œLondon School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), is a gateway for individuals to a second bachelors degree and to work and succeed in a globally competitive environment. Graduates of this programme, who would like to be scholars, may be eligible for a PhD in the worlds top universities or be sought-after professionals, if they would like to work in private institutions.
Upon successful completion of the first years curriculum in the initially registered degree programme, demonstrating English and Mathematics competence and succeeding in written and oral exams to be performed annually, students can continue to œEconomics and Finance Honours Programme in their remaining three years. Exceptionally, if the initial registration of the student is in œEconomics programme, then WITHOUT the requirement of an exam, students can continue to œEconomics and Finance Honours Programme in their remaining three years only upon successful completion of the first years curriculum and demonstrating English and Mathematics competence. Up-to-date application requirements are conveyed to students via various communication channels.
