Department of History students as a result of a four-year degree programs and culture for various periods in history have the knowledge and gain experience in research methods . Our students are equipped with modern 10 - 15 people are exceeding the chance to study in class . Faculty members at least twice a week, the date specified in interviews that face to face meetings have the opportunity to benefit fully from education. In addition, the scope of History Seminar held each semester, invited researchers from Turkey and from abroad have the opportunity to meet and listen to them.
Students whose English is required for the date field and gain Ottoman Turkish language. According to their specialized fields, Turkish, Ottoman, European and the Middle East outside of compulsory courses on history and civilization , taking elective courses from other areas, can benefit from different disciplines . Students who are successful in training time minor or double major in various fields also have the opportunity to get an education.
Historical Society which operates under the Department of History, the history for students interested in provides an environment for discussion and reflection. History community, students' cultural tours, meetings and various events such as film screenings on their achievements is a student community .
