    Overview

    • UniSQ’s Graduate Diploma of Professional Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) is ideal if you have a three year engineering degree and you want to extend your knowledge and practical experience in electrical and electronic engineering.
    • You don’t even need work experience to commence your postgraduate studies in this degree.
    • Through this eight unit degree, you will do a combination of advanced study and practice of electrical and electronic engineering, empowering you to apply engineering principles to the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of electrical and/or electronic plants and equipment.

    • Australian university three or four-year Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in engineering in the relevant specialisation (major).
      or
    • Completion of an appropriate four-year embedded honours Bachelor degree, or equivalent, in engineering in a non-related specialisation (major field).

    English language requirements

    You are required to meet the applicable English language requirements and this degree requires a minimum of IELTS 6.5 with a minimum 6.0 in each subscore. UniSQ also accepts other English language proficiency tests.

    If you don't meet the English language requirements, you can apply to study with our English language partner, the Union Institute of Language (UIL).

    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit (advanced standing) towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
