The College of Liberal Arts is pleased to announce the Dean's Undergraduate Research Grant which aims to provide grant funding of up to $1500 to CLA undergraduate majors pursuing a research project during the Spring 2022 semester.
To apply for a CLA Undergraduate Research Grant students must submit the following information in the form of a Word or Pdf document to [email protected] and [email protected]:
- Your name and email address
- Your major
- Name and email of your faculty sponsor for the project (the Dean's office will contact the faculty sponsor as your reference)
- Title of your research project
- 250-400 word proposal describing your project and your need for funding
- The total amount requested, including a budget breakdown of expenses
Applications will be accepted with a rolling deadline to March 1, 2022. Awards will be announced within a week of receipt of the application. Early applications are encouraged.
Examples of expenses that can be covered by the Undergraduate Research Grant:
- Travel for research or conferences
- Conference registration
- Human subjects research
- Research supplies
- Books
- Printing and copying
