    As digital media continue to proliferate, locally, regionally, nationally, and globally, there is increasing need for qualified professionals able to fill positions in digital content creation, management, and distribution. This certificate program in Game Design and Interactivity prepares those with introductory knowledge to fill entry level positions in the NY metro area and beyond.

    • Gain experience in the essentials of the User Experience design process such as UX research, UX design ideation, Persona, Prototype stages, and Usability testing & evaluation techniques.
    • Design physical and digital interfaces and software products; build interactive prototypes
    • Synthesize a creative portfolio to prepare for a career in UI/UX Design.

    • Portfolio (for applicants to the Hillier College of Architecture and Design)

    First-Year Students

    • Official high school/secondary school transcript in English or a notarized copy
    • Official SAT (use code 2513) or ACT (use code 2580)
    • Optional, unless applying to the Albert Dorman Honors College

    TRANSFER STUDENTS

    • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
    • Transcript evaluation (WES or NACES member)
    • Completed at least 15 semester hours, including:
      • English composition
      • Mathematics (pre-calculus is required for most majors)
      • Science (chemistry and/or physics required for some majors)
