Intensive Course

Now available at all three of our schools: in London, Eastbourne and Dublin! Our Intensive English course will help you improve your key English skills in an encouraging and focused environment. 

Overview 
Intensive English consists of both morning and afternoon lessons in any one of our three centres. 

You will attend General English classes in the morning while your afternoon classes will be tailored to the needs of the group and cover a variety of topics including grammar and pronunciation. 

You can choose your afternoon modules from the following list:

Communication Skills (London, Eastbourne, Dublin) 
IELTS preparation (London, Eastbourne, Dublin) 

More information 
If you choose to study our Intensive English course, with morning and afternoon lessons, you can expect to study for: 28 lessons/21 hours per week. 20 lessons/15 hours are Standard English and 8 lessons/6 hours are your chosen afternoon module. 

The topics in these classes are contemporary and as relevant to the student group. Language and fluency are developed through debates, discussions and presentations.

Our English Communication Skills course have been specifically developed to help improve your English speaking skills and to build your confidence during daily interactions. You may have great writing, reading and listening skills but find holding a conversation more difficult; if this sounds like you, then our speaking English class is ideal. Our course focuses on a variety of situations and will include a range of teaching methods to improve your skills such as role plays, debates, group discussions and presentations. British Council 2016At our English school in London we offer part-time and full-time courses, so you can choose which option is best for you. You can study from about six hours to about 30 hours each week depending on the course you choose, with lessons taking place in the mornings and afternoons.
