Available in our Twin English Centre Dublin, students can study for a whole academic year, which is 25 weeks of tuition and 8 weeks of holiday.

Students have 3 course options to choose from. Morning course options include 20 lessons (15 hours) per week of either General English or Exam Preparation. Afternoon course options are limited to 20 General English lessons per week. Students who would like a more intensive experience, can choose English Unlimited which will allow them to combine 2 Academic Year courses for a maximum of 40 lessons (30 hours) per week.

The Academic Year course is a great offering to non-EU students, because they have the right to work part-time while completing their course in Ireland. Our course will help you communicate well in everyday situations and our qualified teachers approach to teaching English ensures that classes are kept interesting. Students have the option to enrol for either morning or afternoon courses leaving plenty of time to work part-time.

Non-European (EU) Work Rights: Non-EU students can work up to 20 hours per week during their course and up to 40 hours on fixed holidays June - September and 15th December to 15th January exclusively.

Overview
Twin English Centre Dublin (formerly Alpha College of English) was founded in 1989 as an executive training centre to provide high level management and technical courses in English to non native-English speakers. Since then we have expanded our course offerings to include General English courses with a focus on Business and Specialised Programmes.

Over the last 30 years we have stayed true to the founding principle of offering the highest quality standards to our students from around the world. Last year we welcomed 52 different nationalities to Dublin and we always try to ensure the best possible nationality mix in all our classes.
