The famous San Diego Zoo, the Symphony Hall and San Diego Bay are all within easy walking distance. We offer TOEFL and Cambridge Examination preparation courses, among our many different English programmes. The school itself is housed in a modern building, and you will benefit from facilities including a computer room with free internet access while you study English.

Our range of General and Intensive Courses offers something for everyone – whether you’re looking for a short refresher course (10 or 20 lessons per week), or a longer, more intensive course (24, 25, or 30 lessons per week), LSI has the program to suit your needs. 

All our intensive courses follow the General 20 course (lessons 1–4). In addition during lessons 5–6, there is a range of electives to suit all levels, needs, and interests. Elective lessons are run twice a week on the Intensive 24 and 25, and every day on the Intensive 30 course. 

During the lessons, you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. In the further 2 lessons, you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You use a textbook in conjunction with a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers, and magazines.

The Language Studies International (LSI) story began back in 1965 when we opened our first school in Kensington, London. Our global network has since expanded to our current fourteen schools spanning seven countries.
