About

This course will enhance your core skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking so you can confidently communicate in a variety of contexts. We will design a personal study plan for you – based on your specific goals, language level and timeline.

General English is a customisable course. It has a weekly enrolment so you can choose how long you study, and our afternoon modules let you choose between 15, 20 or 25 hours of study per week.

At Bell, you can add 5 or 10 hours of skills to your weekly studies, so that you can concentrate on improving areas in your language development that may be a little more challenging for you. You can select one or a combination of 3 different types of skills to focus on: reading and writing, exam preparation, or speaking and listening skills.

We recognise that every learner is unique. That is why our skills module is expertly-designed to adapt to your learning needs – giving you responsive teaching, personalised learning, and better support overall.

We will support you to choose which skills you would like to focus on, so you do not need to choose until you are at Bell – your teacher will have a good idea of the best options to help you excel.

When you have specific areas you find particularly challenging in your language learning, having 1-to-1 support and tuition from a dedicated teacher can be very beneficial.

Together, you and your tutor will identify specific language areas and skills to improve and create a bespoke study plan, using suitable learning materials for the focus you have chosen.

Our 1-to-1 tuition are highly flexible and responsive, so you are in full control of how you would like to plan these in to your overall learning experience.
