Accountancy

The minor provides an opportunity to understand the development and use of financial and accounting information within organizations. The minor is intended to aid in relating business activities to financial results. The program may also serve as a thematic sequence for non-business majors and also serve as a potential entrance to the Masters of Accountancy program for non-accounting majors. (18 semester hours)

• Non-Refundable $70 Application Fee or Qualified Fee Waiver. (Our application fee is waived for all students who apply by Nov. 1 for 2023 enrollment.)
• Academic Records
  • Academic records include all secondary school studies, beginning with 9th grade through the most current available at the time of application.
  • Proof of secondary school graduation is required before you enroll at Miami.
• Proof of English Language Proficiency
  • Provide TOEFL or IELTS test scores or provide alternative proof of English language proficiency.

Required Documents for Visa

An I-20 visa document is required to enroll as an international student at Miami University. To receive yours, please first provide the following items:

• A copy of your passport or national identification card.
• An international student financial support form with documentation of financial support, such as a bank statement. (Tax returns or letters of employment/income are not acceptable.)
