Advances in technology continue to reshape the accounting industry, and there is a growing need for professionals who understand big data and can leverage their technical and analytical skills to improve business performance. Northeastern’s MS in Accounting/MBA program prepares you to meet this demand with comprehensive accounting coursework, a deep dive into the fundamentals of business, and a four-course concentration in analytics that will set you apart in this dynamic field.

This intensive 15-month curriculum prepares you for a successful career in accounting with advanced preparation for the CPA exam and a three-month paid corporate residency at a Big 4 or other top accounting firm. Our corporate partners shape our curricula, lecture, lead workshops, sponsor corporate residencies, and recruit our outstanding graduates.

Our cohort model means you and your classmates will start the program together, take the same classes, and graduate at the same time. You will all be new to accounting and share your experiences together, becoming a tight-knit peer group that will be a personal and professional resource for you for years to come.
