The topic area, context and approach will be proposed by you and agreed with a tutor before work on your dissertation can formally commence. This is a 60-credit module comprising 600 prescribed learning hours, of which the vast majority will comprise you directing your own learning and workload and preparation of your dissertation thesis. You are supported through the process of preparing and completing the dissertation by a supervising tutor who will monitor progress accordingly.
