    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    Year 1:  Applicants must have completed the Certificate of General Secondary Education plus a relevant Foundation programme or Diploma Year 2:  Community College Diploma

    English Program Requirements

    If you do not fall into any of the categories above you will need to provide proof of your English language ability through the International English Language Test System (IELTS) or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

    Duo Lingo

    For 2022-23 entry, the University has approved the use of the online Duolingo English test as evidence of English language ability. UWS will accept an overall score between 90-115 with no component score below 90.

    Career

    Placement Opportunities

    You will have the option to undertake a one-year placement during your course. This can either occur between the second and third year, or the third and fourth year. Placements provides essential practical experience and can boost your job prospects upon graduation.

    Placement providers include:

    • Lenovo / BNP Paribas / TUV SUD / Chivas Brothers
    A placement year gave me the opportunity to gain invaluable experience within a large Finance department...when I got my degree I was successful in securing a permanent position within the company.

    7. Accept the offer, if successful

    Once your application has been processed, we will contact you by email to confirm the outcome. If successful, you will receive an offer letter which will detail your next steps.

    8. Pay the deposit

    You will be required to pay a deposit to secure your place at the university.

    9: Attend a TEG credibility interview

    The purpose of this interview is to assess if students are credible and genuine. At this stage you will need to prepare your CAS documents for review.

    10. Apply for Visa

    International students, including nationals from EEA or Switzerland, would require a student visa to study at UWS London.
