You’ll then go on to a more in-depth study of accountancy, exploring the world of professional accounting. Your courses will be a mix of theory and practice to give you the preparation you’ll need for a successful career. You’ll also have the option to further specialize your degree by choosing a Fraud Examination Minor.Career OptionsWith your Accounting degree you’ll be prepared to take the CPA exam. By adding our CPA Exam review courses to your schedule, you can begin taking the CPA Exam sections during your last semester. You’ll also be prepared to pursue careers in all aspects of private industry, government and the non-profit sectors, or for graduate study.The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that the job outlook for Accountants and Auditors is excellent with an expected increase of 11% between 2014 and 2024.
