The Bachelor of Business in Accounting is provided by the School of Accountancy at Kennesaw State University. Accounting provides the tools to measure, interpret and communicate financial information for decision-making. A basic understanding of financial and managerial accounting information is necessary for all business majors.

Accounting majors develop their accounting knowledge within the accounting information systems framework. Helping you develop the technical, communication, computer, critical-thinking, problem-solving, teamwork and leadership skills required in today's various industries is critical for this program.

The Bachelor of Business in Accounting at Kennesaw State University is a nationally recognized accounting degree that will teach you how to generate financial statements, prepare tax documents, and measure, interpret and communicate economic information for decision-making.

Graduation from high school with GPA of 2.5 with qualifying SAT/ACT test scores

(If educated outside of the United States, the required official evaluation
must indicate GPA)

First-Year Student Announcement:

First-year students applying to Kennesaw State University for the Summer, and Fall 2023 semesters may be admitted without an ACT or SAT score if they have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.

_{* Students who have a GPA of less than 3.2 should submit official ACT or SAT scores along with their high school transcript to be considered for admission.}

_{*For students who were educated outside the United States, the GPA must be reflected on the official evaluation (see requirements below). Kennesaw State will review the official evaluation.}
