    Minimum admission requirements

    To be considered for admission to this program, you must meet minimum academic criteria:

    1. Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
    2. Achievement of the minimum average for your program of choice.
    3. Completion of Grade 12 English (or equivalent course).

    Admission to many Dalhousie programs is competitive. This means that meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

    Program-specific admission requirements

    Bachelor of Commerce Admission Requirements:

    • Minimum overall average: 75%

    • Academic English 12

    • Academic Math 12

    • Three additional academic subjects

    Accounting Major Requirements:

    • An average of B- between COMM 1101 (Intro to Accounting I - Financial) and COMM 1102 (Intro to Accounting II - Managerial) is required in order to major in Accounting.

    Minimum score: Overall: 6.5, Bands: 6.0

    Submit a copy of the IELTS Test Form Report via email after you have submitted your application to [email protected] for verification.

    Test: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or TOEFL at Home (online)

    Minimum score: Overall: 90, Bands: 20
