This program combines theoretical and practical learning to prepare for a successful career in accounting and finance. You’ll start with two years of common study and earn the necessary credits to start on the path toward a chosen professional designation. Accounting students study financial reporting, auditing, taxation and performance measurement while Finance students learn about risk management, investments, corporate financial analysis and financial planning. Distinctive learning opportunities include networking events, case competitions, an optional co-op program and the Bloomberg Lab with 12 interactive financial information terminals.

Entry Requirements
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements. Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher prerequisite grades and/or higher overall averages:
- English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
- Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
- Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U)
- Note: a minimum grade of 75% is required in the subject prerequisites and as an overall average.

Supplementary Form: All applicants who are not currently attending an Ontario secondary school in a daytime program of study are required to submit a Supplementary Form via the Choose>Ryerson Applicant Portal for each program applied – visit Applications and Related Forms for details. An application for admission will not be reviewed until the completed Supplementary Form is received by Undergraduate Admissions. Applicants must wait for an email acknowledgment of their application and have set up their Ryerson Online Identity to submit a Supplementary Form.
Alternate Program Choices: Applicants wishing to be considered for more than one program at Ryerson must include all program choices on the applicable application form. By doing this, students are automatically considered equally for each individual program
Note for applicants who have applied to Ryerson in a previous academic year: If the name on the application has changed in any way, proof of this name change (i.e. marriage certificate, notarized statement or other legal document) must be provided.
Once you have received an email acknowledgement of your application from Ryerson, and you have successfully activated your Ryerson Online Identity, you should begin the process of submitting your transcripts and supporting documents through your Choose>Ryerson Applicant Portal, as applicable.
