    Course structure

    We offer you the opportunity to study our MSc Accounting and Finance, or MSc Accounting and Finance combined with another business topic. Our degrees are flexible, and this gives you the chance to focus on a specific area that interests you. It also shows future employers where your specific interests and skills are. There are three Accounting and Finance degree options for you to choose from, we refer to these as specialist pathways. The option you choose to study is what will be printed on your graduating certificate.

    All the MSc Accounting and Finance degrees are made up of core modules (ones you must study) and a range of optional modules. Each module is worth 20 credits (except the dissertation which is worth 60) so in total you study six modules and a dissertation module, making a total of 180 credits.

    Typically we can consider a Bachelor's degree from a well-ranked institution.

    A score of

    • 75-91% (GPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.5/5.0) is considered comparable to a UK 2:1 (Upper Second-Class Honours)
    • 63-74% is considered comparable to a UK 2:2 (Lower Second-Class Honours)

    Career

    The MSc Finance degree is an advanced Master's which will help take your undergraduate education in accounting/finance and advance it to a higher level. The option to specialise in areas like risk, investment or banking means that you can signal to future employers where your interests are.
