    Our Accounting with Business Management BSc is designed to help you thrive in a fast-changing world. You’ll build expertise in accounting, business management, sustainability and data analytics, developing the practical and leadership skills that employers value most.

    As one of only six UK universities with CIMA Partner Status, this degree offers up to 11 CIMA exemptions, as well as additional exemptions from ACCA, ICAEW, CPA Australia, CIPFA and AIA, helping you progress more quickly towards professional qualification.

    • Gain valuable, hands-on experience through placements with top employers, including Deloitte, Microsoft, Siemens, Xerox and Disney.
    • Our graduates go on to a wide range of roles across the finance industry, including Financial Analyst at HSBC, Management Accountant at Deloitte, and Finance Officer at Leicestershire County Council.
    • Get a feel for real financial markets in DMU’s Trading Floor, equipped with the same data analysis and trading simulation tools used by finance professionals around the world. You’ll graduate confident in your ability to interpret data, trade, and make informed business decisions.
    • Join the DMU Investment Society to meet like-minded students, hear from guest speakers such as Mattioli Woods PLC, take part in case competitions, and gain hands-on experience with R Studio and the London Stock Exchange Trading Simulator. It’s a great way to build networks and confidence before you graduate.
    • Through DMUGlobal, you’ll have the chance to take part in international experiences that broaden your horizons and enhance your CV. Recent trips to Orlando and Frankfurt have given students the opportunity to see global finance in action and develop a truly international perspective.

    English language requirements

    If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band (or equivalent) when you start the course is essential.

    English language tuition, delivered by our British Council-accredited Centre for English Language Learning, is available both before and throughout the course if you need it.
