    Acting in Context

Investigate the historical, social, political, cultural and economic development of acting. Develop your understanding of the historical developments of acting and share this with your peers through discussion, debate and presentation. You also begin to equip yourself with an understanding of self-reflection.

    Acting Techniques and Performance

Apply appropriate acting techniques to a live production and reflect on your development throughout. You develop a wide range of skills including communication, organisation and practical skills such as flair, professionalism and application of technique.

    Movement

Develop a practical understanding of the core principles of physical theatre as a combination of bodily and textual communication. You gain key knowledge of training practices, explore the application of physical techniques and stylistic skills and are introduced to concepts of staging and choreography within physical theatre performance.

Singing Techniques, Vocal Anatomy and Performance

Explore and develop your understanding of the ever-changing landscape of singing techniques, vocal anatomy and performance.

    Work Ready Experience

Apply the knowledge and skills you have gained across all modules to two live briefs.
