Acting program offered by Indiana University Bloomington . Our experienced, professionally connected performance faculty of teacher/artists and scholars is dedicated to the mission of providing high quality training with a focus on individual attention.Coursework and on-stage production give actors the opportunity to develop a number of successful methodological approaches to work on demanding texts of the classical and contemporary theatre.  I want to find another Master Course Our students take courses in technique and process, gain access to visiting artists, and study with a wide range of mentors.Our Acting program is built on individual attention to technique and growth. We believe that a specific trajectory can be created for training, and that is why we start with a methodology class emphasizing individual development. Our students move on to text, scene study, styles, audition preparation, and a camera class. Work in movement, voice, and speech is an important part of the program. A comprehensive reading list is given to all actors for subsequent discussion with faculty.CareersYou will spend your years with us intensively honing your craft and advancing your talents. Our students become both fluent and focused as theatre arts professionals. They also make critical connections with others in the performing arts.     The M.F.A. in Acting program at Indiana University Bloomington trains actors in all aspects of their craft, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to work in professional theatre. The M.F.A. is a terminal degree.
