    How to Apply

If you would like to apply to Newman University, then you can follow the seven steps below:

Step 1: Select the course from the Find Your Course page that you wish to apply for and click apply now.

Step 2: for full-time undergraduate courses you will be directed to the UCAS application portal (if you do not already have a UCAS account you will need to create one online) – for part-time and postgraduate (not PGCE) courses you will be linked to apply directly to Newman through the MyNewman platform. For PGCE courses you will need to apply through the Department for Education.

Step 3: Once your application has been received you will then receive a reply on whether an offer has been made. This might be a Conditional Offer (awaiting results or other entry requirements) or an Unconditional Offer.

Step 4: Once you have received your offer from Newman University it is time to decide what you would like to do. You can accept your offer if applying directly, or if applying through UCAS you can accept an offer by choosing ‘Firm Acceptance’ or for insurance choices choose ‘Insurance Acceptance’.

Step 5: If you have a Conditional Offer you must ensure that you provide Newman University with the outstanding conditions as soon as possible for your place to be confirmed.

Step 6: Once your place is confirmed you will receive communications from Newman University’s Admissions Team with instructions on how to enrol at Newman.

Step 7: You will then be ready to become a Newman University student!

    Applying via UCAS:

If you only want to apply to Newman, visit the course page of the subject you wish to apply for and go to the Entry Requirements section to access the Newman direct application portal for the course. You will need to register on our Application Portal when you access it for the first time.
