Advanced Diploma (Conducting: Orchestral)

The deadline to apply for this RQF Level 8 programme is 1st November 2021. The deadline for receipt of Orchestral Conducting first-round video recordings is 16 November. The Academy’s postgraduate conducting course is internationally recognised as one of the foremost programmes for training conductors. Our students have many opportunities to work with talented players and singers in a variety of settings, from two-piano workshops and intimate chamber ensembles to full symphony orchestra. Academy conductors work in a friendly, collaborative and focused environment which prepares them for professional conducting careers.

A Master’s qualification or equivalent (in a relevant subject) but the Academy welcomes applications from students who may not meet the normal requirements. A performance standard at least equivalent to a Distinction at Master’s level. https://www.ram.ac.uk/study/next-step/entry-requirements

Minimum score of 5.5 in every section of the test
PTE Academic: 59
Minimum score of 59 in every section of the test
TOEFL (iBT): 72
Minimum scores for Reading: 18, Listening: 17, Speaking: 20, Writing: 17.
