    About

Our foundation year will develop your engineering knowledge and skills. We cover a breadth of topics including design, analysis and mathematics.

You'll learn about engineering design principles and use computer-aided tools like MATLAB. You'll also gain analytical skills, which you will apply to real-life engineering scenarios.

You'll continue to build on your mathematics abilities. These foundational maths skills will help you throughout the rest of your degree.

Once you've completed your foundation year, you can progress onto our Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies BEng (Hons) degree. You'll complete the theoretical training required to get a pilot’s license, while gaining an engineering degree.
