    About

MASTER COMPARATIVE CULTURAL ANALYSIS Africana Studies is a multidisciplinary program with its basic content in the social sciences and humanities. The B.A. prepares a student to develop a complex and critical assessment of the social, political, intellectual and artistic dimensions of the African American and African Diasporic experience through comparative analyses of articles, books, film, art and archival material, to effectively communicate that knowledge orally and in written work and to apply their skills in projects that provide service to black communities in the region. This knowledge and these skills may be effectively incorporated into virtually any career path the student chooses.
