    Agribusiness

    About

Agriculture is the foundation of the economy in the Midwest. Agribusiness encompasses any operation related to farming that extends beyond the gate. Having knowledge of all aspects of agribusiness will help you succeed in any ag-related career you choose to pursue. In the agribusiness degree program at Wayne State, you will learn how to successfully manage, market, and optimize a farming operation, while also building a solid knowledge of how agribusiness-related policies and international and domestic market forces impact the entire agriculture industry. Wayne State is the perfect location for studying in the agribusiness degree program, set right in the heart of Nebraska’s farm country.

    Entry Requirements

High school seniors may apply for admission and send transcripts directly from their high school any time after completion of the sixth semester. A final high school transcript documenting official graduation date from that high school must be submitted prior to the start of the semester for which admission is being sought.

All freshman applicants under the age of 21 are encouraged but not required to submit test scores from either the American College Testing Program (ACT) or the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The scores are not used in an admission evaluation, but rather to help determine which college courses students should take in their first year.

The ACT/SAT scores may also be used to determine academic scholarship eligibility and/or academic eligibility for intercollegiate athletics to meet NCAA requirements.
