Agricultural Business (BSc Agr)

This applied business program will provide plenty of hands- on, scientific learning opportunities, including practical experience in the lab and in the field.

This program is offered on our Truro campus, which boasts small class sizes and modern facilities. You’ll gain specialized skills in the agri-food industry, a growing field locally and internationally, with graduates in high demand. 

Graduates of this program are eligible for membership in Agrologists in Canada.

Program-specific admission requirements

• Minimum overall average: 75% 

• Academic English 12 

• Pre-calculus Math 12* 

• Three additional academic subjects

With one in eight Canadian jobs found in the agri-food industry, you will have many career options to choose from. You will also be well-equipped to apply to roles outside of this sector.

Graduates have the knowledge and skills to work in a variety of sectors such as agri-food businesses, federal and provincial governments, consulting firms, and financial institutions.

Future studies may include programs at the graduate level in business administration, agricultural science, and finance.
