    College of Agriculture Undergraduate Programs The College of Agriculture offers three bachelors' (B.S.) degree programs as well as a variety of academic majors in the areas of Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences, and Hospitality Management. Undergraduate Programs Agricultural Research The Agricultural Research Station (ARS) is the unit of the College of Agriculture responsible for carrying out the Land Grant Research Mission of Virginia State University. Agricultural Research Randolph Farm Randolph Farm is a 416-acre agricultural learning center, home to a multitude of agricultural related research, demonstration and instruction activities. Randolph Farm VSU MANRRS Chapter MANRRS is a national society that welcomes membership of people of all racial and ethnic group participation in agricultural and related sciences careers.     Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    • 3 units of mathematics that must include the full Algebra I curriculum and two additional courses at or above the level of Algebra I. It is strongly recommended that students complete Geometry, Algebra II, and a fourth higher level math course

    • 4 units of English

    • 2 units of Science (must include a laboratory science, i.e. Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

    • 2 units of Social Studies (History, Government, Civics, Geography)

    • 2 Units of Foreign Language recommended


    • a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 (grades 9-11).

    • evidence of strong performance in a challenging academic curriculum as demonstrated by a grade of B or better in core course.

    English Program Requirements

    All applicants for whom English is a foreign language must demonstrate proficiency in the English language through the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or international English Language Testing System (IELTS) if English is not the primary language spoken in the household. A minimum score of 61 preferred 71 (internet based), 173 preferred (197) (computer based), or 500 preferred (527) is required on the TOEFL. A minimum score of 5.5 on the IELTS for admission.
