    About

Overview The Ancient Mediterranean Studies program of Emory University is an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary program offering an undergraduate major emphasizing the interconnections of the ancient cultures of the Near East, Egypt, Greece and Rome. Courses, taught by faculty in seven departments, emphasize the exchange of artifacts and ideas throughout Mediterranean history – for which Emory’s own Michael C. Carlos Museum provides a rich source of primary evidence. The Program also sponsors colloquia and conferences, on such topics as ancient Medicine, Mystery Religions, and the Law and the Family in Antiquity that widen students’ academic horizons. Students are strongly advised to spend time abroad, participating in archaeological projects, or in CIPA or other university programs in Israel, Turkey, Greece, and Italy. Opportunities are also available for independent research through Emory’s SIRE program. I want to find another Bachelor Course
