Overview Key facts:This unique 27 month AA program consists of an intensive academic and didactic program that will prepare the student to function within the anesthesia care team. The Anesthesia Program will emphasize the clinical education of the anesthesiologist assistant using a state-or-the-art mock operating room with an anesthesia simulator, and hospital based clinical rotations. The students will get an extensive clinical training experience that will consist of a minimum of 2500 clinical hours that encompass all aspects of anesthesia care for the surgical patient. Upon completion of the course of study, students will have earned a Master of Science degree in Anesthesia from Nova Southeastern University. I want to find another Master Course

1 : Baccalaureate degree from a nationally recognized and accredited college or universityOfficial transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate course work.Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 grading scale. A minimum GPA of 3.25 is preferredGraduate Record Examination (GRE) or Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) Three letters of recommendation from persons familiar with the applicant's prior academic performance, potential, character, work habits, and suitability for graduate study leading into a career in clinical practice.At least eight hours of documented anesthesia exposure by observation in the operating room.Literature summary of an article published in a current anesthesia journal.All applicants must show evidence of computer skills through coursework or self-study prior to the end of the first semester. Students may obtain instruction through the NSU Student Microcomputer Laboratory or other training facilities.
