    Applied and Clinical Psychology

    About

You’ll find out how psychology affects everything we do, and fulfil your curiosity about people’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours. You’ll develop the scientific, analytical and research skills required of you as a future psychologist. Our course covers the breadth of the discipline, taking in applied, social, clinical and biological psychology, cognitive neuroscience and much more.

You’ll learn how to conduct research, getting hands-on by setting up experiments and questionnaires online, collecting data, analysing it, and writing reports to a professional standard. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate and act as a researcher in a diverse range of studies through our research participation system.

Our BSc (Hons) Applied Clinical Psychology degree’s part-time, 100% online distance learning format enables you to fit your study around other commitments. We use the latest technology to make your experience of studying with us varied, rich and interactive, and encourage you to ask as many questions as you like and really engage with the course content.

You’ll study through Canvas, our world-class online Learning Management System (LMS), which can be accessed from your phone, PC or tablet at home or on the move. Canvas provides instant access to study materials, forums, and support from tutors and classmates, as well as enabling easy submission of your assignments.

You’ll have regular contact with a tutor who will offer you academic guidance and feedback on your work, which will help you build your confidence and develop your academic and professional skills as you progress.

On successful completion of your studies you’ll be invited to attend a graduation ceremony on campus, or receive your certificate by post if you prefer.

What’s more, our BSc (Hons) Applied Clinical Psychology degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), so you can be sure you’re gaining up-to-date knowledge and skills that are valued by employers.
