    About

    The programme offers a systematic and practical approach to the major fields in modern biology. The teaching language is English. Graduation requires 135 class contact hours including 12 hours in elective courses and 38 hours in practical laboratory courses. Special focus in the programme is on cell and molecular biology, human biology, genetics, microbiology and modern analysis techniques. Training includes state-of-the-art techniques that are generally taught in small groups. All laboratories are excellently equipped. In the third study year, students can choose between a number of elective courses, thus availing of the opportunity to perform studies and research in different scientific disciplines.
