    In the heart of Western Europe, Germany – the Federal Republic of Germany - is situated. It has long borders with Poland, Czech, Austria, Denmark, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Netherlands, the North Sea, and the Baltic Sea. On the North, European Plain in addition to the gate of the Baltic Sea, Germany’s location is a strategic position.

    Hills of forests are in the central and southern parts of Germany, the Danube, Main and Rhine rivers valleys flow through mountains. In the north, to a spacious plain, stretching to the North Sea, the green carpet flattens out.
    It has a population of 82 million people residing on an area of 357,386 kilo square meter which is the seventh largest country in Europe.

    Germany is a federal Republic having 16 provinces whose constitutions, government and legislatures are of their own which give them the authority to issue laws concerning all cases except of the Federal Government’s exclusive rights like defense, foreign affairs and finance; but culture, education, local law enforcement, and environmental protection are related to provinces.
    The unity of Germany is celebrated on 3, October each year, when German Democratic Republic had become part of Germany’s Federal Republic.

    2. Visit the university website. Every university’s website has a specific corner where application requirements are detailed widely.
    3. Be aware not to make mistakes, for each minor mistake can lead to a failed application.
    4. To avoid mistakes students have to read about requirements slowly and precisely. Anything not clear, just call the university‘s administration.
    5. The requirements are not the same for each university has its own requirements.

    Normally, students need to submit the following documents:

  • A completed application form.
  • High school diploma.
  • Relevant academic certificates.
  • Translation of grades and CV.
  • A copy of valid passport.
  • Language proficiency either in English or German in accordance with subject’s medium.

  • Financial Means

    If you are in need of a student visa to study in Germany, then you should make it clear that your financial means, as a student, is enough.
    850 – 10,250 Euro a year is the amount of money to cover a student’s expenses while he is in Germany.

    Postgraduate Requirements – Master Degree

    A suitable bachelor degree is required to continue a master degree in Germany’s universities, and a student doesn’t have to be awarded.

    Ph.D. Degree
