The Human Biology & Health Sciences concentration of Applied Biology focuses on coursework that prepares students for health-related careers and employment within biomedical sciences companies. Select from a "Tools" requirement from Geographic Information Science certificate, Commerce, Data Intelligence, or Forensic Investigation minor making you more employable.

• Non-Refundable $70 Application Fee or Qualified Fee Waiver. (Our application fee is waived for all students who apply by Nov. 1 for 2023 enrollment.)
• Academic Records
  • Academic records include all secondary school studies, beginning with 9th grade through the most current available at the time of application.
  • Proof of secondary school graduation is required before you enroll at Miami.
• Proof of English Language Proficiency
  • Provide TOEFL or IELTS test scores or provide alternative proof of English language proficiency.

Required Documents for Visa

An I-20 visa document is required to enroll as an international student at Miami University. To receive yours, please first provide the following items:

• A copy of your passport or national identification card.
• An international student financial support form with documentation of financial support, such as a bank statement. (Tax returns or letters of employment/income are not acceptable.)
