    Overview The Applied Chemical Engineering department maintains excellent communication with industry through an eight-month cooperative work program, and encourages students to gain experience through industrial practice; for example, academic credit is granted for appropriate work experience.Because of the wide scope of chemical engineering training and the industrial boom in Saudi Arabia, graduates can seek employment in many fields. Some may follow a career in government in various ministries.
