    About

    Computing is changing our world, the way we work and the way we live. To study computer science is to put yourself at the forefront of both technological and social change. This course examines the principles and technologies underpinning the systems that are driving this change. It provides an opportunity to learn about these directly through a combination of classroom theory and practical activities. Within this context, this degree has two main aims. The first is to provide you with a good understanding of the theory, principles and technologies of computer science. The second is to equip you with the skills to apply this knowledge and theory to a range of practical challenges. The field of computer science offers a wealth of opportunity across a range of specialist fields. The variety of course options offered allows you to finetune your degree, focusing on areas of interest or to meet the requirements of a favoured career.

    Entry Requirements

    UCAS Tariff - 80 points
    80 UCAS tariff points from a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent level 3 qualification e.g. Extended Diploma (MMP) or Access to Computing course (30 level 3 credits at a merit).

    GCSE/National 4/National 5 - GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent)

    Fee Information
