Overview
Ohio University's Bachelor of Science in Applied Management (BSAM) is a fully online degree completion program designed to prepare students to move into management or leadership positions in their workplace or for entry into a Master of Business Administration program. BSAM is primarily intended for students who have completed a two-year degree program (60 or more semester hours or 90 or more quarter hours) from an accredited community college, regional campus, or technical college, and who seek to further their education by completing the requirements for a baccalaureate degree.
Students will develop leadership and supervisory skills, learn to assess business risk and understand competitive challenges, improve written communication skills, earn basic accounting and strategic planning skills, and get hands-on experience in crafting business strategy. This flexible online format allows you to pace your classes to fit your life and career. Prior college credits often transfer, allowing you to finish your degree more quickly.
