Applied Science is the understanding of how organisms work and how living organisms can produce useful products. You will develop your knowledge and understanding of biological theories and build skills needed to effectively apply them in a future scientific career. The course aims to give those with an interest in biological sciences the practical and theoretical skills to advance their career by developing technical competence through a number of hands-on activities and experiments.

Entry Requirements
UCAS Tariff - 16 - 64 points
GCSE grades A* to C and/or 9 to 4 (or equivalent) or Level 2 Functional Skills in Math and English may be considered, 16-64 UCAS points from AS and A-Levels or Level 3 qualification in related subjects or Access to HE Diploma
Mature (over 21) students, who do not meet these academic qualifications but have relevant work or life experience will be considered.
Non-native English speakers or who have not studied the final two years of school in English, will take college assessment in English and math. Applicants are expected to attend an interview.
