Overview The Middle East is the cradle of civilization, the birthplace of three major world religions, and remains at the center of global energy markets, the world economy, and geopolitics for the foreseeable future. The program is offered by United States Military Academy at West Point .Immersion opportunities in the Arab world include:FAEP during spring break. Arabic majors have traveled to FAEP's in Jordan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and other non-Arab Mideast countries.SAP. This term we have Cadets studying on the Semester Abroad Program in Jordan and Morocco, and potentially next term, Oman. We are always looking for new opportunities for SAP in the Arab world.AIAD during the summer. Study Arabic abroad for academic credit! We currently have LN440A summer programs in Jordan, Morocco and Oman, and past AIAD's have included Egypt. In the future??Maximize your Arabic experience competing as a delegate in the Model Arab League against other universities, or explore Arab language and culture through films, cuisine, or trip sections in the Arabic Club. As an Arabic Language or Middle Eastern Studies major at United States Military Academy at West Point you will develop your linguistic interest and aptitude by broadening and deepening your mastery of the language and culture at the crossroads of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

If you meet initial qualification from the CQ, the Admissions Office will send you a link to the Candidate Kit which has the test form and instructions in PDF format. The CFA consists of six events:Basketball throw (from a kneeling position)Cadence pull-ups or flexed-arm hang (women's option)40-yard shuttle run (for time)Abdominal crunches (number completed in 2 minutes)Push-ups (number completed in 2 minutes)1-mile run (for time)
