This minor, offered by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures, will give students a basic understanding of Arabic language and culture. Eighteen (18) credits are required, which includes 8 credits in Arabic language.

The Arabic Language and Culture at University of Rhode Island is a Bachelor program designed for students who want to build the knowledge and skills required for careers in this field. Entry Requirements

- Official academic documents must be presented to the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the time of enrollment.
- Submit certified English translations of all secondary (high school) and post-secondary (if applicable) coursework not written in English.

Such exemptions are determined on a case-by-case basis.
